The mission of the Language Education Center in USTC is to provide courses and services to undergraduate and graduate students which facilitate and promote English Language Learning. The Language Education Center also promotes in conjunction with other departments, the benefits and merits of global education. The seeds of future study abroad are embedded and cultivated to enable students to successfully experience learning in foreign university graduate programs and undergraduate exchange programs. The USTC Language Education Center is a most positive learning space for students to engage global learning whilst attending USTC.

The facility of the Center is modern in appearance and function. A Multi-media lecture room and break out rooms are in addition to office space which facilitates personal student-teacher communication. The atmosphere is ideal for deeper communication. Also, instruction is given in other traditional USTC classrooms for larger groupings and convenience.
